Well, obviously I will not most likely be great at getting on here.... hopefully when Riley does something that needs to be remembered I will think to get on here briefly and preserve it!

Tomorrow marks the beginning of a summer adventure.  Our two nieces, Ariana and Alexis will be coming to stay with us for 10 weeks.  Riley's room has been all rearranged, new bunkbeds have been set up for them and a dresser.  God has been so good to supply these things for us so easily.  I must trust that He will provide the strength and stamina to provide for the needs of three little ones during the summer months.

And the biggest news of all is that we are expecting a new little one!  Baby Hart is due to arrive in very early December.  So a lot of this blog for the next several months will be devoted to that!  As well as our craziness over the summer months!

We have been trying for another baby for over a year now, but can already tell that God's timing is perfection.  So perfect that I am just now out of the 1st trimester with the most tiredness before the girls come!  Thank You Lord!

From Indy to Chicago and back again

I want to make a good effort once again to blog about life for our family.  We had done this when I was pregnant with Riley and for about a year after that but then just fizzled.  I can't get in to that account anymore.  And we aren't in Chicago anymore. So hence the title, from Indy to Chicago and back again. We've been back in Indy for over a year now and so glad to be home!  God has given us way more than we deserve!  A great church just a mile away, great community with a small group that most live right near by, back near family and friends!


I don't know how often or how well I will be at getting on here and posting, but I want to so that Riley can one day look back and be reminded of some of his milestones.  As well as so he can share it with his own kids one day about the funny things he did when he was little.  (And so we ourselves don't forget!)  I also want to record the blessings of the Lord to be able to see and REMEMBER His gracious hand in our lives!
